We find balance in the third part of the Harmony bodypaint trilogy: Yin – Yang – Yin and Yang.

More about Jana
I’m a freelance model, stylist and hairstylist, living in Ghent. 6 years ago, besides my work as a speech therapist, modelwork and styling became my passion. I model concepts as portrait, beauty, fashion, editorial and art: bodypaint. I combine the rules of posing with a lot of expression and a special Jana-touch of flow posing. Commercial and non commercial work. I am proudly signed by Jackie Lee – Antwerp, as people model. Two years ago, my passion for fashion guided me to fund my own styling company BEdressed.
I’m used to work with photographers of all backgrounds and experience levels. People know me as a creative, easy going and patient model. To me, creating beautiful work together is on the same level as a pleasant shooting time together.
Modeling bodypaints became my passion over the years. So, looking forward to this one!

Concept and bodypaint
Melicious Paints turns Jana into a living Yin Yang piece. We combine the two previews paints into one new design. Think of beautiful black and white contrasts and golden broken lines.
We provide enough props and backdrops to provide sufficient variety for every photographer.
Please note: the paint on the mood board is a direction to reflect the atmosphere and will not be exactly the same. We always make our own creations.
Studio and lightning
By Marc Schoonackers, Studio 7/11. All materials in the studio may be used freely. There are a lot of props, chairs, stools, cubes … you can use as decor. You only need to bring your own camera and lenses. You are free to change the light setups yourself or be assisted by Marc.
Backdrop
We provide a symmetrical background: half black and half white (vertical). You can place me as a model in the center with both black and white in the background or place me separately on the white or black surface.
We also provide a painting by Nico De Guchtenaere. In contrast to the strong geometric, the painting is very elegant and playful. This way we offer a nice contrast. You can use the painting background for half body and portrait shots. Of course you are completely free to choose your own background and props. We ensure that these are ready so you are ready to shoot.
Nico De Guchtenaere
Nico is Jana’s dad. A professional painter and teacher who studied at the KASK in Ghent (1981 – 1985). In addition to thinking in paint, the starting point of his paintings is always a motif from nature. He observes nature as an instrument for reinvention and developing one’s own ‘culture’.

Let’s shoot together for 120, 90 or 60 minutes.
Ask your collegue photographer to join in the 120 minutes slot and split the total. Two photographers welcome!
